Prologue Grace Upon Grace

John 1:14–18 brings us to the breathtaking climax of the Prologue. The eternal Word who created all things did not remain distant—He became flesh and dwelt among us. In Jesus, the glory of God is no longer hidden behind a veil but revealed in a Person, “full of grace and truth.” From His infinite fullness we continually receive “grace upon grace”—an inexhaustible supply of divine favor for every moment of life. While the Law came through Moses, grace and truth came through Jesus Christ, who perfectly reveals the Father. In Christ, we discover that God’s glory is not merely His power, but the lavish outpouring of His grace, His faithfulness, and His desire to make Himself known to His people.
