Thinking Rightly About God —

What we believe about God shapes everything about how we live. But what happens when the God we worship is merely a reflection of our own desires, preferences, and expectations? We risk exchanging the God of Scripture for an idol of our own making.

In this message, we confront one of the great distortions of our generation: the belief that God’s love exists primarily to make us happy. Scripture reveals something infinitely greater. God’s love is inseparable from His holiness, and His ultimate purpose is not merely our happiness, but our transformation into the likeness of Christ.

Through the encounter between Jesus and the Samaritan woman, we discover that only Christ can satisfy the deepest thirst of the human soul. Thinking rightly about God changes how we understand His love, endure His discipline, surrender our desires, and ultimately worship Him in spirit and truth.
