1 Peter 2:4-9

Come and draw near to the Living Stone — Christ the Cornerstone once rejected by men but chosen and precious before God. Upon Him rises a dwelling not made with hands, a holy oikos without walls, a sanctuary carried wherever His people go. You are the living stones He has called and shaped, fitted together by grace, cemented by His Spirit, raised into a royal priesthood to offer spiritual sacrifices and to bear His presence into the world. Once you were not a people, but now you are God’s own; once you walked in darkness, but now you stand in His marvelous light. Let every life become a testimony, every breath a proclamation of His excellencies, and every step an extension of His temple on earth — the ekklesia of the Living God, built upon Christ forever.
