Itinerary or Gospel embodiment?

Paul holds up two trusted companions—Timothy and Epaphroditus—as living examples of what it means to live out the Gospel. Timothy is marked by genuine care for others and a life shaped by selfless service. Epaphroditus models sacrificial courage, nearly dying to support the mission. Both men show that Gospel living isn’t theoretical—it’s loyal, humble, and costly. And we need people like this to follow as we learn to walk in the way of Christ.
