Philippians 4:21-23

Paul closes his letter by pointing everything back to Jesus. He urges the Philippians to greet one another “in Christ,” highlighting their unity in Him. Then comes the surprise—even those in Caesar’s household send greetings. Through Paul’s imprisonment, the gospel had reached the highest levels of Roman society. The grace that began the letter ends it—the grace of Jesus that sustained Paul, empowered the gospel’s spread, and binds the Church together across all boundaries. For Paul, it’s all about Jesus—and not even Caesar could stop it.
