James 1:13-15

James strips away every excuse and lays the truth bare: God is never the author of temptation, for darkness cannot spring from perfect light. The snare is closer than we admit—woven from our own restless desires, which beckon and bait the soul. When desire is welcomed, it conceives; when it is indulged, it gives birth to sin. And sin, left to grow to full stature, delivers its final offspring—death. What begins as a whisper in the heart ends as a grave consequence for the whole life.
