James 1:19-21

In Epistle of James 1:19–21, James the Just turns the believer inward, pressing for a posture of humility before God and others. Wisdom begins with restraint: ears open, tongue guarded, anger slowed. Human wrath, he reminds us, cannot produce the kind of righteousness God intends; it only clouds the soul. Therefore the disciple must strip away the moral grime and the swelling tide of wickedness that clings to the heart, and instead receive the implanted word with a quiet, teachable spirit. That word, once welcomed and rooted, carries within it the power to rescue and reshape the soul. 🌱
